Daily Silver News: April 10 – Silver Rebounded to $31

Silver price rebounded on tariff news; markets await CPI data.

The silver futures contract gained 2.46% on Wednesday, April 9, as it advanced following tariff delay announcement. On Monday, it rebounded from a new local low of $27.545, and yesterday, it traded near the $31 level. The previous Friday, silver reached the highest since 2012, however, remaining relatively weaker than gold.

Today, silver is extending its rebound, as we can see on the daily chart (the chart includes today’s intraday data):

The silver price is 1.0% higher, as it is trading along the $30.70 level. What about the other precious metals? Gold is 1.7% higher, platinum is 0.3% lower and palladium is 1.7% lower. So, the main precious metals’ prices are higher this morning.

Today, we will get the key Consumer Price Index release at 8:30 a.m.
