Daily Silver News: April 22 – Silver Price: Still Below $33
Silver extends its consolidation, as it remains weaker than gold.
The silver futures contract lost 0.07% on Monday, April 21, as it extended a consolidation despite new record highs in gold price. Silver remains relatively weaker than gold. The ptevious Monday, it rebounded from a new local low of $27.55. On March 28, silver reached the highest since 2012.
Today, silver is moving sideways again, as we can see on the daily chart (the chart includes today’s intraday data):
The silver price is 0.1% higher, as it is trading along the $32.60 level. What about the other precious metals? Gold is 1.2% higher, platinum is 0.8% higher and palladium is 1.2% higher. So, the main precious metals’ prices are higher this morning.
Today, we will get the Richmond Manufacturing Index release at 10:00 a.m.
