Daily Silver News: April 23 – Silver Trading Along $33

Silver price keeps moving sideways, data, tariffs, peace talks in focus.

The silver futures contract gained 1.18% on Tuesday, April 22, as it extended its consolidation despite a record-breaking rally in gold prices. Silver remained relatively weaker than gold. The ptevious Monday, it rebounded from a new local low of $27.55. On March 28, silver reached the highest since 2012.

Today, silver is moving sideways again, as we can see on the daily chart (the chart includes today’s intraday data):

The silver price is 0.2% higher, as it is trading along the $33.00 level. What about the other precious metals? Gold is 3.0% lower, platinum is 0.9% higher and palladium is 1.3% higher. So, the main precious metals’ prices are mixed this morning.

Today, we will get the important Flash Manufacturing PMI and Flash Services PMI numbers at 9:45 a.m., among others.
