Daily Silver News: April 3 – Silver Trades Above $26
Silver extends its rally following advances in gold price.
The silver futures contract gained 3.39% on Tuesday, April 2, as it extended the rally, reaching new medium-term highs in a reaction to record-breaking rally in gold price.
On March 21, silver failed to break above its early December local high of $26.34, backing off from the $26 level. Since then, it has been relatively weaker than gold.
Today, silver is trading higher again, as we can see on the daily chart (the chart includes today’s intraday data):
The silver price is 1.9% higher, as it is trading above the $26 level. What about the other precious metals? Gold is 0.5% higher, platinum is 0.4% lower and palladium is 0.9% lower. So, the main precious metals’ prices are higher again this morning.
