Daily Silver News: March 24 – Silver: Still Below $34

Silver price pulled back last week; today’s it’s rebounding.

The silver futures contract lost 1.60% on Friday, March 21, as it extended its Thursday’s pullback despite gold prices remaining relatively close to their record highs. Last week, silver pulled back from its Tuesday’s local high of $35.00. It was the highest since late October. In October, the market was the highest since 2012.

Today, silver is rebounding, as we can see on the daily chart (the chart includes today’s intraday data):

The silver price is 0.7% higher, as it is trading along the $33.70 level. What about the other precious metals? Gold is 1.3% higher, platinum is 0.5% lower and palladium is 0.6% higher. So, the main precious metals’ prices are higher this morning.

Today, we will get the key Flash Manufacturing PMI and Flash Services PMI numbers at 9:45 a.m., among others.
