Daily Silver News: March 28 – Silver Moves Higher Again
Silver price continues its uptrend as gold reaches new record highs.
The silver futures contract gained 2.52% on Thursday, March 27, as it extended its advance, breaking above the $35 level. The market is following a record-breaking rally in gold prices; silver is the highest since 2012.
Today, silver is slightly extending its uptrend, as we can see on the daily chart (the chart includes today’s intraday data):
The silver price is 0.8% higher, as it is trading along the $35.40 level. What about the other precious metals? Gold is 0.7% higher, platinum is 0.1% lower and palladium is 0.7% higher. So, the main precious metals’ prices are higher this morning.
Today, we will get the important Core PCE Price Index release at 8:30 a.m., among others.
